Valimai is the latest and most awaited movie starring Kollywood star Ajith Kumar. The massive action entertainer, directed by H Vinoth, was released today. And let's go into the review and find out how much this movie has impressed the audience!
Movie Story:
In Vizag, a batch of Satan gangsters are involved in drug dealing, chain snatching and murder. The people of Vizag are suffering with a series of looting attacks. Police Officer Arjun (Ajit Kumar) arrives in Vizag on this order. So how did Arjun deal with this case? Who is the real leader behind this satanic batch? What has this batch got to do with Naren (Kartikeya)? How did Arjun finally put an end to the Satan batch? Is the rest of the story.
Plus points:
The background of this film is great. The biggest plus point is that there are so many good mass elements in the script. Director H Vinod packed the film perfectly with enough commercial elements to attract the same audience. Mass elevations, fights and action sequences in particular are all great.
Ajith Kumar did very well in the film in his body language and Mass Avatar. After a long time, he also did very well in racing scenes. And the crazy BGM in the movie, the stunts are great. Karthikeyan's performance is another added bonus to this film.
But this movie is the main plus point. All the Karthikeyan racing scenes with Ajith are awesome too. Huma Qureshi re-entered the South with a good film. But she was limited to a few scenes. Impressive though.
Minus points:
The main point taken by director H Vinod, and the main characters, the conflict between the characters is very impressive but the film lacks the expected elements of the film minus the expected level. It would have been nice if the serious treatment written by director Vinod elevating the story over and over had been logical in some places.
Also, if some of the lag scenes in the second half had been reduced, the film would have gotten a better out foot. Although the main characters, the scenes from the point of view of the characters are impressive .. Some scenes are sloppy, as well as some scenes that miss interest, such as the boring elastic mother sentiment remained a weakness for the film.
Technical Aspects:
Speaking of technicians .. the background music provided by music director Yuvan Shankar Raja is good. However, the background score provided by Yuvan Shankar Raja in the action scenes is very good. The editing is good either, but if the second half had been trimmed even tighter, it would have been a plus for the film. The cinematography is also impressive. Neerav Shah showed the visuals in the action scenes very naturally. Production values adopted by producer Bonnie Kapoor are very good.
Final Conclusion:
Coming as a pucca crime entertainment thriller with a perfect action pack, the film has good action scenes, emotional content, and thrilling elements. Ajith's acting is the highlight of the movie. If not, some scenes are boring, and the second half play is not interesting in some places. Overall, this movie is a favorite of Ajith fans as well as action thriller movies lovers.
